I believe this to be Denzel's masterpiece of a performance. He deserved an Oscar for this film. I don't why many of his very good movies, people think are better than this excellent movie, with his outstanding performance and great story being is not my favorite of all his fine pictures he's made. Great on all fronts.

3 Parts just break my already broken heart. 1, You Don't Wait For Me Ok? 2, I Love You Creasy, And You Love Me Too Don't You? Yes, I Do. With All My Heart Pita, Go. 3, this one gets to me the most. He covers his heart with his hand and they have the gun on him covering his heart. No matter how many times I've seen this movie, I still cry at the end. Every time. 😭😭😭

I always hope they did a sequel. I know that in the book he dies and in the movie you see him get in the car with the other guys. I always had this thought that as the car drove away, he killed everybody in the car and just disappeared……. At least that’s what I like to think he did.
